Until i ran a set of pipes to a water source a nearby bay in this case and disconnected the tanks from supplying that section of my base the beer barrel was not accepting the irrigation. I rebuilt the barrel a couple times using different snap locations points pipes. There is piping through the ceiling it is on and it is shaded blue so as to indicate that it is irrigated.

Since we have already necroed this i would mention i have no problems with the beer barrel. The beer barrel can be filled with up to 1000 water and attached to an irrigation system to facilitate the continuous production of beer liquid. Is it normal that if i attach a beer barrel directly to a water source like e g the sea it gets irrigated but if i attach it to a full water reservoir that works regularly in watering plants it doesn t seem able to get the water from it.
